Course Selection <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-style-default has-medium-font-size is-layout-flow wp-container-core-details-is-layout-8a368f38 wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong> Add-Drop Procedures<\/strong><\/summary>\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">\u2192<strong>Students from the NTU System (\u4e09\u6821\u7cfb\u7d71)<\/strong> should select courses through their home university\u2019s course selection system in accordance with each school\u2019s rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">\u2192<strong>Non-NTU System students<\/strong> who wish to take courses at NTU must register through the <em>Intercollegiate Course Application System for Non-NTU Students<\/em>, print the application form, fill it out, and submit it directly to the NTU Office of Academic Affairs.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-style-default has-medium-font-size is-layout-flow wp-container-core-details-is-layout-8a368f38 wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Q1.<\/strong> I have already received approval for \u201ccredit recognition\/waiver,\u201d but why am I still blocked from enrolling in certain courses?<\/summary>\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">\u2192Applications for credit transfer and recognition processed by colleges serve only as documentation for waiving certain program courses when applying for a Program Certificate. They are <strong>not connected to the course selection system<\/strong>. If you wish to take an intermediate or advanced course but are blocked because you did not take the prerequisite introductory course, please request an authorization code from the instructor after the course begins.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-style-default has-medium-font-size is-layout-flow wp-container-core-details-is-layout-8a368f38 wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Q2.<\/strong> A program student registered for Course \u25cb\u25cb\u25cb but did not get in. The completed application form, transcript (please highlight the program courses with a highlighter), and proof of approved credit exemptions or recognitions must be submitted to the Dean\u2019s Office of the College of Liberal Arts (Qin 303). Credit Recognition \/ Exemption<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-style-default has-medium-font-size is-layout-flow wp-container-core-details-is-layout-8a368f38 wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong><strong><strong><strong>Regulations for Credit Recognition \/ Exemption<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/summary>\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">\u2192 The maximum number of credits that may be recognized or exempted is 8. Please download the application form from the Credit Program section of the College of Liberal Arts website. Complete the form and upload it together with the required documents to the online application system before the add\/drop deadline or before the final exam period ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>Exemption:<\/strong> Students may apply for exemption from required courses based on language proficiency test results. The language proficiency certificate must be attached. <em>Please note that for Korean language proficiency tests, applications will only be accepted if the certificate is still valid.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>Recognition:<\/strong> Students may apply to have previously completed similar courses recognized as equivalent to required program courses. A course syllabus and transcript (please highlight the relevant courses with a highlighter) must be attached. Applications are subject to review by the program committee and are not guaranteed approval.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">\u203b Courses that have been exempted or recognized will not appear on the transcript.<br>\u203b The College\u2019s acceptance of credit recognition\/exemption applications serves only as supporting documentation for exemption when applying for the program certificate, and is unrelated to the course selection system. I already hold a certain level of the Hakka Proficiency Test, but I\u2019m being blocked from registering for courses because I haven\u2019t completed prerequisite courses. How can I use my test certificate to waive these requirements?<\/summary>\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">\u2192 Since credit exemptions are approved internally by the College and are not linked to the registration system, the system cannot automatically recognize them. You will still need to obtain an <strong>authorization code<\/strong> from the instructor each time you register for a course.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-style-default has-medium-font-size is-layout-flow wp-container-core-details-is-layout-8a368f38 wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Q6.
