1. Competition Objectives
(1) To cultivate students’ oral expression skills and enhance their Hakka language proficiency through the Hakka Reading Aloud Competition.
(2) To integrate the Hakka language with the Hakka Culture Program, encouraging students to use Hakka in daily life and improving their motivation and effectiveness in learning the language.

2. Eligibility
Students currently enrolled in the first semester of the 2024–2025 academic year at any of the universities in the National Taiwan University System (National Taiwan Normal University, National Taiwan University, and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology).

3. Competition Schedule

Registration period: September 13, 2024 (Fri) – October 2, 2024 (Wed)

Reading materials announcement: September 13, 2024 (Fri)

Drawing of lots & competition schedule announcement: October 4, 2024 (Fri)

Reading competition: October 16, 2024 (Wed), 18:30

Results announcement: October 17, 2024 (Thu)

4. Competition Venue
A classroom at the Main Campus of National Taiwan Normal University (exact location to be announced).

5. Awards

First Prize: 1 winner, NT$5,000 and a certificate.

Second Prize: 1 winner, NT$3,000 and a certificate.

Honorable Mention: 1 winner, NT$2,000 and a certificate.
(Note: All registered and participating contestants will receive a certificate of participation. Awards may be withheld or granted in fewer numbers if no contestant meets the required standards.)

6. Registration Method
During the registration period, fill out the Google Form and upload the required attachments.
After eligibility review, the organizer will send a confirmation email within three days.
