
I. Activity Introduction
Are you eager to experience Hakka village life and local traditions firsthand? Do you want to hear the Dabu (Ta-pu) dialect and explore local stories in a traditional market? Interested in tracing the daily life of Dongshi’s Damapu community along its historic irrigation canals?
Then you absolutely cannot miss the annual Tung Blossom Camp! Come explore the Hakka village with your own two feet!
II. Activity Details
- Date: Saturday, November 15 – Sunday, November 16, 2025
- Duration: Two Days and One Night
- Location: Dongshi District, Taichung (Central Taiwan Hakka Community)
III. Registration and Fees
- Insurance Fee: NT$500 (New Taiwan Dollars)
- Payment Deadline: Before October 31, 2025
- Payment Method: Submit payment to Ms. Lin at the College of Liberal Arts Office (Qing 303).
- Notes:
- The final cost is subject to actual expenditures.
- Spaces are limited. Organizers will prioritize applicants based on enrollment status and event needs.
- Insurance fees will be fully refunded to applicants who are not accepted.
IV. Eligibility
- Currently enrolled students of the National Taiwan University System (NTNU, NTU, NTUST).
- International students must possess proficiency in Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
- Students enrolled in the Hakka Studies Program or those who have previously taken Hakka language courses will be given priority.
